It was commercialized only in Japan and had a few revisions with different hardware, including a console variant, the FM Towns Marty, arguably the first 32-bit console. For the time, they were good machines and very capable on the multimedia and gaming aspects. WebFeb 22, 2012 · The FM Towns Marty is the original unit. It featured a gray casing and a top-loading CDROM drive. The processor is a 386 AMD. The FM Towns Marty 2 is the revised, cheaper version of the original console.
